How far in advance should I book my session?
I would recommend at least 4-6 weeks in advance. This gives us time to pick the perfect day for you, plan out a location and any other details regarding the session.
Do you require a retainer?
Yes! A $75 non-refundable retainer is required to officially reserve your session date. This payment is due upon receiving your invoice and ensures your date is secured on my calendar. It also provides a commitment from both sides, so you can relax knowing your photoshoot is locked in.
How do I secure my date?
Once you have inquired I will reach out about my upcoming availability so we can pick a date and start planning your session!
Can I reschedule my session if something comes up?
I’m happy to accommodate rescheduling as long as I receive adequate notice. All the details are outlined in your contract, but please keep in mind that the biggest challenge is finding another available date that works for both of us—especially during busy seasons.
What is your cancellation policy?
For standard sessions (portraits, couples, branding, etc.), cancellations must be submitted in writing.
If you cancel within 48 hours of your session, you’ll be responsible for 50% of the remaining balance, unless there are extenuating circumstances determined by the photographer.
If you do not show up to your session without notice, you will be responsible for 75% of the remaining balance.
Any payments made before the cancellation or no-show are non-refundable.
Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance do not require further payment, but your non-refundable retainer will still be retained.
Please note: Weddings and elopements have a separate cancellation policy outlined in their specific contracts.

What should I wear to my session?
I recommend wearing outfits that make you feel confident and comfortable. Solid colors and simple patterns tend to photograph best, and it’s great to avoid logos or overly busy prints. I am always open to helping you plan your outfits before your session so don’t be scared to ask!Can I bring props or pets to my photoshoot?
Absolutely! Props and pets can add a personal touch and make your photos unique. Just let me know ahead of time so I can plan accordingly and ensure we have a smooth session. Can I bring a friend or family member to my session?
Yes! Bringing a friend or family member can be a lot of fun and help you feel more relaxed. Just keep in mind that sessions are all about you, so while they’re welcome to hang out nearby, it’s best if they don’t get too involved or take the lead during the shoot. This way, we can keep the focus on you and make sure you get the best experience! What happens if the weather is bad on the day of my session?
If the weather looks unfavorable, I’m happy to reschedule your session to a better day. We’ll keep an eye on the forecast and communicate early to find the best solution. What time of day should I expect to shoot?
This will depend on your overall vision for the session but my favorite time of day to shoot is about an hour before sunset. For studio sessions I recommend the morning or afternoon. I’ll work with you to schedule a time that gives us beautiful lighting and fits your availability.

You’ll receive your photos through a secure online gallery that you can access anytime. This makes it super easy to view, download, and share your images. Yes! I usually send sneak peeks within 48 hours after your session so you can get a quick look at some favorites while I finish editing the full gallery. How long will it take to receive my photos after the session?
Each package includes an estimated delivery time for your final gallery, which varies based on the length and type of session. This timeline allows me to carefully edit every image and ensure the highest quality. If there’s ever a delay, I’ll keep you updated along the way. I also offer gallery rushes if you need your photos sooner—just ask! Please keep in mind that during busy seasons, delivery times may be a bit longer due to high demand.
